Disclosure: I have been provided discount codes to share and in return I may get compensation via free product or a small payment when my code is used. But be sure all comments and reviews of products are my own!
I wanted to have a place where you can come and check out some of my favorite things. For some I have a discount code you can use, but other things are just here because they make my list of Favorite Things! I may be adding along the way, so please come back every now and then to check it out.
Bondi Band – Bondi Band is my all time, hands down favorite headband! I tried several kinds until I found BondiBand. It doesn’t slip. I wear them year round, because I can pull it over my ears or leave it above. Not only are they functional but they are so fun! The sayings are fun, and they’re always adding new ones. The price is right as well, and they’re always running promotions. I can’t get enough of these headbands.
Pura Vida Bracelets – These are so fun and versatile and support a good cause. You can find bracelets for specific fundraisers and causes. Plus proceeds from every order goes to help provide jobs for local artisans in Costa Rica. This is near and dear to my heart, because I went on a mission trip there when I was in high school. When you use MARSHAAPSLEY20 you get 20% off your order. Check them out at www.puravidabracelets.com. I have tons of these bracelets to go with every outfit. You can sweat in them, get them wet, and wear them wherever. Additionally they make great gifts!
Arctic Zero – Calling all ice cream lovers! I will eat it in July and in December and all months in between. I was so happy to find Arctic Zero. This is known as a “fit frozen dessert”. The reason is that it’s a unique treat. It is lactose free and has protein and fiber in it. Each pint has 150-300 calories, so you can eat an entire pint without guilt if it’s been one of those days! 😉 My local Kroger carries several flavors. Fortunately it is becoming more readily available at supermarkets.
Love God Greatly Study – I have been following Love God Greatly and doing their studies for a couple of years. We just finished studying the life of David and Christ. Recently I was chosen to be part of the launch team for their upcoming study on forgiveness. “You Are Forgiven” is releasing at the end of August. I love these studies because all materials can be accessed online and sent to your inbox for free. You can purchase a study guide and journal for a small amount that has all scripture included as well as pages to journal each day. I highly recommend it, but you can still follow the study without making the purchase.
Santa Hustle – This is my favorite half marathon. (And I’ve done TONS of them!) I think the reason I love this event is that I celebrate my favorite holiday (Christmas!) by doing my favorite thing (run a half marathon!). The Santa Hustle half marathon came to Indy a few years ago, and I have done each one. This year I get the opportunity to offer a discount code for the Indy event or for the virtual event. So even if you don’t have a Santa Hustle in your area, you can register and get the swag and do it on your own. If you’re not feeling like 13.1 miles, you can choose the 5K. I load my ipod with Christmas music and enjoy the run. They have fun cookie and candy stations along the way. When you register use code AMAPSLEY16 for a $5 discount.
Cross Training Couture – I believe I have every tank they have. I love these flowy tanks that have scripture on them. It’s my go-to yoga wear.
MDA donation – Recently I ran a half marathon with Team Momentum. This was to raise funds and awareness for those with muscle disease. If you’re looking to make a donation to a good organization, this is one I’d recommend.
Green Bean Delivery – I don’t like to shop. I mean, I do, but from the comfort of my own home. That’s why I get my vitamins and supplements and nut butters and bars from places like Amazon or Vitacost or Drugstore.com. And recently Green Bean Delivery has expanded it’s services to Shelbyville, and I’m LOVING it! I can order organic and healthy foods and have them delivered to my door weekly or bi-weekly. They come to my door in a cooler, so no worries about keeping everything fresh.
Molly’s Suds and Bass Farms – Confession: I sweat. And my sweat stinks! (And I’m assuming yours does too! lol!) I sweat a lot in fact. I have found 2 products that I use to cover up and wash out that sweat. If I’m not doing my laundry right away, I use Bass Farms Linen Spray in Snuggle scent, and this works like a charm. I only wash my clothes in Molly’s Sport Suds. Both of these products work like a gem. In fact, I love all the products you can find on each website. Bass Farms has an entire line of lotions, soaps, and even make up products. Molly’s Suds has detergent for your regular laundry as well as dryer balls that I use in my dryer to fluff my laundry.
Brooks Running Shoes – Although I can’t tell you what shoe is right for you when it comes to a running shoe, I can tell you that you can’t go wrong with Brooks! I still suggest you get fitted somewhere, but if they give you a Brooks shoe that will work for your lifestyle, I’d go with it. Brooks never lets me down!
Oatmega – One of my favorite bars is Oatmega. They are a good source of protein but leave no protein aftertaste. I’ve ordered them online and have also found them at Wal-Mart. Can’t decide my favorite flavor, so I usually have several on hand!
Trades of Hope is a company that supports women around the world and helps them get out of poverty. The items are unique and from a different country or places in the United States. I’m always pleased with the quality of the products. I have bags and jewelry, scarves and stationary. Check it out. If you’re looking for a gift, this would be a great place to shop!
This Crazy Life Designs – I just got this decal for my car, and I’m loving it. Nanci, from This Crazy Life Designs, sent it to me and gave me a discount code to share with you. When you visit her Etsy shop, you will find this decal and many others. I’m sure you’ll find one you’ll just have to have! Use code MARSHA2016SP for $1 off your order. Then let me know which one you chose!
Your Box Catering – If you’re in the Shelbyville area, you must try this! Whether you work in an office, at a shop, at a school, or work from home, you can have a freshly made lunch delivered to your door. Ricca serves the Shelbyville area Monday through Friday and is available to cater events. Hop online and get your lunches ordered for next week!
